Box 250 Boydton, VA 23917 Drop Box Checks and Money orders (NO CASH) can be dropped in our 24-hr drop box. Look for the gray box located in front of our office. Drop box is emptied daily and items in the box will be receipted that day. Over the Phone You may pay real estate and personal property tax by phone with a check, credit or debit card. Call 855-748-3306 and follow the instructions. When paying by phone, you will need to provide your account number. A Convenience Fee will be charged for these transactions. A general guideline of the treasurer's bills mailing schedule is below to help you determine when to expect your bill and/or notice. - Personal Property and Real Estate - The December statement is mailed in October and due by December 5th. A late payment penalty of 10% is added on December 6th and interest at the rate of 10% per year is added beginning on December 6th. The June statement is mailed in May and due by June 5th.
